CANAAN — Absentee voting is available for the upcoming state referendum/Somerset County Commissioner special election to be held Tuesday, Nov. 8.
The Town Office is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesdays for voter registration and absentee voting.
Voter registrations will be accepted until 8 p.m. Election Day.
The deadline to get an absentee ballot is 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. A special circumstance application is also available at the Town Office for any absentee voting after the deadline.
Polling hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 8.
