BELGRADE LAKES — Belgrade Lakes village will celebrate it’s 14th annual Christmas Stroll from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Hundreds of luminaries and lights will decorate the lakeside village. A tree-lighting ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. in the village triangle. The event is sponsored by Belgrade Lakes Region Business Group.
The following events are also scheduled:
* A holiday craft fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons. There will be vendors, handmade woodworks, themed gift baskets, decorative paintings, ornaments, wind chimes, wreaths, fiber art, photography, jams, candy and more.
* Santa will be at the Maine Lake Resource Center from 4 to 7 p.m.
* Donations of hats, mittens, scarves and socks for the Christmas giving tree will be accepted at the Belgrade Regional Health Center, Route 27.
* Cabaret Night will be celebrated from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Village Inn.
* Children can write a letter to Santa from 4 to 7 p.m. at Balloons & Things.
* Messalonskee High School Robotics Club will conduct demonstrations from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Belgrade Lakes Post Office parking lot.
* There will be an outdoor fire for s’more making from 4 to 7 p.m. in front of Day’s Store. Music will be provided by Gerry Fotter.
* Horse-drawn wagon rides will be ongoing from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Lakepoint Real Estate.
* A cookie walk will be featured from 2 to 5 p.m. at Wings Hill Inn. For more information, call 495-2205.
