AUGUSTA — American Legion District Nine will conduct an American Legion Extension Institute certification training course at Camp Keyes, Building 41.

The course is designed for Legion members, active duty personnel, and veterans, to strengthen officer corps and develop leadership potential.

There will be four lessons, each taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: American Legion History and Organization on Aug. 22; American Legion Service Divisions and Sections, Aug. 24; Americanism, Children and Youth and Public Relations, Aug. 26; and Legislative, Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, Economic, National Security, and Foreign Relations Programs, Aug. 27. The course will include a final exam.
