AUGUSTA – Maine State Credit Union has made changes to its retail team, which will allow it to continue to provide members with the highest level of support across the state of Maine as it continues to expand into new markets.

Lavetta Denson has been promoted to the role of vice president, regional retail manager. In this new role, she oversees all branches and will work with the managers to create an enhanced member-centric experience across the branch network.Denson was previously the branch manager at the 200 Capitol St. branch in Augusta, according to a news release from Jennifer Roper with the credit union.

Jennifer Chipman has been promoted to vice president, new business development manager. In this newly created role, Chipman will work with the commercial, mortgage, and branch teams to help spread the word about Maine State Credit Union and all the products and services that it provides. She was previously the branch manager in Rockland.

Hillary Jackson, has been promoted to branch manager in Rockland. Jackson will assume leadership of the branch and work closely with Denson and Chipman to continue to expand the presence of Maine State Credit Union along the coast. She previously was the assistant branch manager in Rockland.

Michele Lyons, has been promoted to branch manager in Waterville. Lyons is well known in the Waterville community and has been part of the Waterville team for many years. She previously was the assistant branch manager in Waterville.
