AUGUSTA — Crow’s Nest Celtic Band is set to perform a St. Patrick’s Day themed concert at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Community Meeting Room of Lithgow Public Library, 45 Winthrop St.
The band features Chris Gray and Heather MacLeod. Their music creates an experience that listeners find fun and welcoming, with a repertoire that includes rhythmic jigs and reels as well as fun sing-along songs and tender ballads, according to a library news release.
Gray is an uilleann piper, percussionist and artist based between Portland and Mount Desert Island. MacLeod plays the penny whistle and sings. She is a retired public school music educator and lives in Brunswick.
This performance is free, but people must reserve a seat by visiting the online library calendar or calling the Reference Desk at 207-626-2415.
