The group won first for dance performance and Ampersand Dance Academy was second. The Age Right Fitness group won the Grand Marshal award for best overall entry. After the parade, the scheduled events included live music at the city bandstand, children's events in Vaughan Field capped off with fireworks in the evening. She said that she lives in North Carolina but came for her class’ 40th reunion. The group won first place in the Old Hallowell Spirit category again as they did ten years ago for their 30th reunion.
