Drug agents, and state and county police carried out search warrants in Franklin County earlier this week, but officials would not release details about what happened.
Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols said in a report that in the sheriff’s department, state troopers and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed the searches in Phillips and Strong on Monday.
He said the warrants were in connection to a burglary reported on June 21 at 57 Hunter Road in Strong.
“Because of the ongoing nature of the investigation no further details will be released,” said Nichols.
