A China man and 21 underage people were summoned Friday after a party in China was busted.
William Levesque, 58, of 43 Fire Road 3, was summoned with furnishing alcohol to minors and providing a place for them to consume after the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office got a report of a large, loud party in China Friday night.
“When deputies arrived, persons at the party fled into the woods,” said a press release from the sheriff’s department.” Most of the persons were rounded up by deputies or the persons arrived back on their own.”
Nineteen underage people were summoned for consuming alcohol, the release said.
When asked where they got the alcohol some of them said from inside the residence, the release said.
Another two people at the party were summoned for civil drug possession.
No other information was available Saturday.
