AUGUSTA — Kennebec Behavioral Health and Crisis & Counseling Centers have joined together, effective Dec. 1, to deliver comprehensive mental health care to the central Maine community.
Combining their resources and expertise, they plan to offer a broader range of services. Care will continue without disruption, with all current programs and services remaining in the same locations with the same dedicated professionals, according to a news release.
A wide array of mental health services and programs, including Crisis Stabilization and Mobile Crisis, will now be offered under the name Kennebec Behavioral Health. Crisis services are an integral part of the organization’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic model, ensuring comprehensive and accessible care for all.
