GARDINER — Open Book Players is set to hold auditions for its next readers theater production of “Thurber Fables … for Adults” at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Johnson Hall Opera House, 280 Water St.
This production includes a compilation of short fables including “The Courtship of Arthur and Al,” “The Tigress and Her Mate” and “The Stork and His Wife.”
Performances will be held at the opera house at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5, and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 6. There are parts available for five-10 actors ranging in age from 16 through senior adults.
