Wyllum Deveaux had two goals and an assist, and the Maine Mariners scored three times in the second period for a 4-1 win over the Trois-Rivières Lions in an ECHL game Wednesday night at Cross Insurance Arena.
After Xavier Cormier put the Lions ahead 1-0 at 11:54 of the first period, Deveaux got his 17th goal on a power play with 2:51 left in the first.
Deveaux converted on another power play at 12:35 of the second. Alex Sheehy made it 3-1 just 1:15 later, and Deveaux and Tristian Thompson set up Chase Zieky 44 seconds before the intermission.
Brad Arvanitis stopped 24 shots for the Mariners, who have won three straight for the first time this season.
