Friday a 19-year-old man was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop for speeding on Interstate 295 in Gardiner.
A 24-year-old Gardiner woman was charged with harassment and harassment by telephone.
Tuesday at 2:50 p.m., there was a traffic complaint on Route 201.
3:40 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on River Avenue.
Wednesday at 3 a.m., there was an accident on Market Street.
LITCHFIELD
Aug. 26 an 18-year-old woman was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of hashish during a traffic stop.
Aug. 27 a 38-year-old man was charged with operating with an expired license more than 90 days during a traffic stop for speeding.
Friday police responded to a report of an assault on Wentzell Road. There were no charges as the victims refused to cooperate.
There was a report of vandalism at Nadeau’s Marine on Lewiston Road.
MANCHESTER
Aug. 26 a 29-year-old man was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker during a traffic stop on Pond Road. The driver reportedly told police he had purchased the sticker.
MONMOUTH
Tuesday at 8 p.m., there was an accident on Macomber Road.
9:30 p.m., a traffic offense was reported on U.S. Route 202.
Wednesday at 12:12 a.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Wilson Pond Road.

Friday a 17-year-old boy was charged with criminal speeding after police clocked his vehicle traveling 103 miles per hour in a 70 mile-per-hour zone on Interstate 295.

Tuesday at 4:41 p.m., there was a late report of criminal mischief.
VIENNA
Tuesday at 1:26 p.m., there was a late report of a car hitting a person on Cumner Lane. No serious injuries were reported.
2:11 p.m., there was a report of a stolen diamond engagement ring on Waugh Road.

Aug. 28 a 54-year-old man was charged with negotiating a worthless instrument by police responding to a report of a bad check at Fuller’s Market on Hallowell/Litchfield Road.

Tuesday at 7:32 p.m., Keith R. Laney, 41, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant on State Street.
CHINA
Aug. 26 John Seidl, 54, of Liberty, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence during a traffic stop for speeding on Route 3.
FARMINGDALE
Friday Joseph Parker, 35, was arrested on a warrant and new charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and operating after suspension during a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker on Maine Avenue.
Tuesday at 1:12 p.m., Ricky Lee Haley, 52, of Farmingdale, was arrested on Stevens Lane on a charge of failure to pay fines.
LITCHFIELD
Aug. 25 Marcie Whitten, 35, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear.
PITTSTON
Sunday Patrick Moore, 29, was arrested on a warrant. Moore was a passenger in a car stopped by police on Route 27 for an alleged seat belt violation.
