Mae Dubois set up goals by Lydia Herrick and Madi Flannery, and Skowhegan remained undefeated with a 2-0 win over Belfast in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls soccer game Tuesday in Skowhegan.

Herrick opened the scoring in the first half. 

Flannery added to the lead in the second half.

Natalie Cooke earned the shutout, making five saves for the River Hawks (3-0). Zady Paige of Belfast (2-2) stopped eight shots.

WATERVILLE 3, LEAVITT 2: Caroline Cothran netted two goals and had an assist for the Purple Panthers (2-2) in a win over the Hornets (1-3) at Waterville.

Kiera McNeill also scored, Piper Hamilton had two assists, and Waterville keeper Roselyn Martin made 12 saves.

Reese Bilodeau and Brooke Boutaugh each recorded a goal for Leavitt. Hailey Welch stopped five shots.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1, OAK HILL 1: Natasha McDonald of Spruce Mountain (2-2-1) opened the scoring and Sidney Wood of Oak Hill (1-2-1) tied it before halftime as the teams played to a draw in Wales.

Shelbey Elwell assisted on Oak Hill’s goal.

Jayda McDonald made 18 saves for Spruce Mountain. Oak Hill’s Grace Lough had seven stops.

MT. BLUE 1, MESSALONSKEE 0: Kari Savage scored in the second half, assisted by Lily Hastings, to give the Cougars (1-3) a win over the Eagles (2-1) in Oakland.

Mt. Blue keeper Ava Davis and Messalonskee’s Kiana Carrier both made four saves.

MARANACOOK 13, LISBON 0: Evelyn Stevenson scored six goals and had an assist to lead the Black Bears (4-0) to a win over the Greyhounds (0-5) in Lisbon.

Phoebe Bell notched two goals and an assist, and Alice Ferran and Chloe Mills also scored twice. Lydia Stevenson was the other goal scorer.

MT. ABRAM 1, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Evelyn Pepin’s goal midway through the second half gave the Roadrunners (4-1) a win over the Mustangs (3-2) in Monmouth.

Abby McCarty assisted on the goal. Edna Bilodeau recorded the shutout with six saves.

Monmouth’s Lily Carlton stopped seven shots.

LEAVITT 3, WATERVILLE 1: Tyler Mates converted a penalty kick for the tying goal and Jacob Gibbs scored the go-ahead goal in the first half as the Hornets (3-1) erased an early deficit against the Purple Panthers (1-3) in Waterville.

Matthew Tabet clinched the victory with 1:08 remaining, connecting with a direct kick.

Hamad Alsaleh opened the scoring midway through the first half.

Leavitt keeper Luke Horn made seven saves. Waterville’s Grayson Kingsbury stopped eight shots.

MT. BLUE 3, MESSALONSKEE 0: Nate Zeliger scored twice to help the Cougars (3-0) beat the Eagles (1-3) in Oakland.

Henry Renaud also scored, while Kooper Keller stopped four shots for the shutout.

Dagen Gooding made six saves for Messalonskee.

FIELD HOCKEY 

WINSLOW 10, OCEANSIDE 0: Nine players scored goals for the Black Raiders (2-3) in a victory over the Mariners (0-4) in Rockland.

Delana Ferran put in two goals. Abby Kiidli, Emma Fales, Shawna Martin, Ava Fortuna, Dom Giroux-Pare, Hannah Delile, Brinlyn O’Toole, Mara Tyler added a goal apiece.

Giroux-Pare made two saves and Silver Picard stopped one shot for Winslow. Oceanside’s Ada Hansen made 10 saves.

LEAVITT 8, MOUNT VIEW 0: Ainsley Barry potted a hat trick for the Hornets (2-2-1) in a win over the Mustangs (1-2) in Thorndike.

Sage Dunn and Ava Twitchell scored twice, and Brylee Emmons had one goal. Sophie Reny, Mallie Buckley and Calee Libby each had an assist.

Riley Millet and Sam Krebs combined for the shutout, making a total of three saves. Kelsey Stevenson stopped 17 shots for Mt. View.
