PITTSFIELD — Maine Central Institute Community Service Day is set for Wednesday, Oct. 22. Projects will include yard work, trash pickup, painting, winterizing and other activities. More than 500 students, faculty and staff will participate in projects throughout Pittsfield, Burnham and Detroit. The day will continue MCI’s long-standing tradition of community service.
Organizations and individuals in Burnham, Pittsfield and Detroit can reserve project time by emailing sgiallombardo@mci-school.org or nhughes@mci-school.org, or calling 487-3355, ext. 190 or ext. 164. The deadline to reserve project time is Oct 3.
