On Saturday morning, 11,788 customers of Central Maine Power lost electricity in Gardiner, West Gardiner, Dresen, Woolwich, Richmond, Bowdoinham, Litchfield, Pittston and surrounding Sagadahoc County towns, according to the CMP outage map.
According to its website, CMP provides customers with initial estimates of how long it will take for electricity to return. The company could not be reached for comment on the reason for the outage or when they expect power’s restoration.
