Hallowell firefighters and a police officer work at an accident scene Wednesday at 2 Warren St. on the corner of Winthrop Street in Hallowell. The driver was heading down the hill on Winthrop Street and turning onto Warren Street when the Buick LeSabre slid into the building at 2 Warren St., according to officials at the scene. The driver wasn’t injured and was able to back the car away from the house.
