Red Cross information session set for Aug. 19

SKOWHEGAN — The Red Cross will host a volunteer information event from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Skowhegan Fire Department, 16 Island Ave. Community members can learn more about the work of the Red Cross in the community and about volunteer opportunities in Somerset County.
