GARDINER — MaineGeneral Hospice Volunteers of Kennebec Valley in Gardiner will offer a Survivors of Suicide Loss Grief Support Group Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. starting Tuesday, Sept. 29. Meetings will be at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, according to a news release from the Hospice group.
This group is offered for adult family and friends who have had a loved one die by suicide. The eight-weeks of meetings offers participants compassionate peer support, as well as, information specific to loss and grief resulting from suicide.
Space is limited, registration is required. To register and for additional information, call Tamara Cooper, bereavement coordinator, at 626-1780.
