In observance of Maine Open Winery Day, wineries around the state will offer tastings, tours, demonstrations and food pairings Saturday, Sept. 19.
Wineries participating in the Waterville area include Tree Spirits Winery and Distillery in Oakland, Younity Winery and Vineyards in Unity and Two Hogs Winery in Vassalboro, according to a news release from Tree Spirits Winery & Distillery.
• Oakland’s Tree Spirits Winery & Distillery will be open for tours, chocolate and cheese parings and absinthe demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Unity’s Younity Winery & Vineyards will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for tours and tastings.
