FARMINGTON – South Street in Farmington will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday because of the University of Maine at Farmington’s Fall Festival and Open House. The road will remain open to pedestrians, Farmington Public Works Director Denis Castonguay said.
Castonguay suggests that any driver needing to get around the road closure take the next street to its north, Academy Street. South Street will reopen to traffic once the event ends at 5 p.m.
