The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office is investigating three burglaries reported Thursday afternoon — two in Randolph and one in Pittston.
Items reported taken were prescription drugs including oxycodone, cash, a laptop and a camera.
Kennebec County Interim Sheriff Ryan Reardon said the three cases may be linked because of the time of day they were committed, the location of the homes targeted and the method used to gain entry. In Pittston, the house was unlocked because the tenant was in the process of moving. In the other two break-ins, the suspect forced open the back doors of two homes on Water Street.
Anyone with information on these burglaries is asked to call Deputy Derek Wing or Sgt. Michel Dutil at 623-3591.
