Irene Damren, celebrated her 100th birthday Jan. 20 at Goudreau’s Inn & Suites in Winslow.

Damren was born and raised in Madison and is the mother of two children, Carol and Bill. She was a travel agent and retired at 55.

Her mother lived to be 103 and she hopes to hit 200.
