AUGUSTA — A jury on Tuesday convicted a Chelsea woman of operating under the influence.
Casey M. Kimball, 36, formerly of Randolph, was sentenced to five days in jail, with all but two days suspended, and she was fined $500. She is to report to jail to begin the sentence on April 22. Her driver’s license was suspended for 150 days.
The conviction followed a two-day trial at the Capital Judicial Center. The offense occurred May 11, 2015, in Chelsea.
Several other people were sentenced Tuesday in separate hearings also held at the Capital Judicial Center:
• Sterling D. Finch, 44, of Berwick, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer May 21-July 29, 2013, in Waterville; 3 1/2-year jail sentence, with all but 10 days suspended, one year probation; $5,946 restitution.
• Eric J. Fitzpatrick, 30, of Augusta, burglary Sept. 15, 2014; criminal mischief, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, refusing to stop, and violating condition of release, all March 4 and all in Augusta; 12-month jail sentence.
• Dennis P. Page, 36, of Thorndike, domestic violence assault July 3, 2015, in Augusta; three-year jail sentence, with all but 60 days suspended, two years of probation.
• Cullen J. Penney, 20, formerly of Vassalboro and now of Augusta; three counts of criminal mischief and one count of criminal trespass, all Feb. 4-5, 2014 in Augusta; 364-day jail sentence, with all but 30 days suspended, one year of administrative release; $684 restitution. Two counts of burglary from the same dates dismissed following a successful 18-month deferred disposition.
• Joseph F. Ridley Jr., 44, of Augusta, theft by receiving stolen property June 17-July 18, 2014, in Augusta; three year jail sentence, with all but 30 days suspended, two years of probation, $2,000 restitution.
