The April 6 article entitled, “Republicans in Maine House block $18 million spending plan” leads me to these observations:

• The Democrats have no fiscal sense;

• The Democrats have no awareness of how the Maine economy has stabilized and improved in the last eight years;

• And, the Republicans definitely know what it takes to support the economy of Maine.

I want to thank the Republicans for not letting Maine slide back into the Democratic economic quagmire of the past.
