RANGELEY — Sean Fleming and his Dam’ Rag Scotta Band will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at the Church of the Good Shepherd. The concert, presented by Rangeley Friends of the Arts, is sponsored in part by Morton & Furbish Real Estate.

The band plays hits from the dawn of the jazz age. Included will be pieces by “Jelly Roll” Morton, Louis Armstrong, Scott Joplin, as well as such early Dixieland-style hits as “The Chant,” “Black Bottom Stomp” and “Tiger Rag.”

For this concert, band includes the same instrumental configuration that “Jelly Roll” Morton used in his trend-setting “Red Hot Peppers,” with Phil Clement on banjo​ and guitar​, Chuck McGregor on bass, Mitch Kihn on clarinet, Allen Millett on drums, ​Linda Brunner on flute, ​Doug Kennedy on trombone, Peter Stuart on trumpet, Anne-Marie D’Amico on tuba, ​and Fleming on piano.
