Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives Mark Eves’ Lincoln County Senior Listening Tour visit is planned for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main St., in Damariscotta. It will be an opportunity for community members, local seniors and their family members, caregivers, industry leaders and lawmakers to gather and discuss ways to help Maine seniors’ age in the right place within their community.

This statewide tour is a continuation of Speaker Eves’ “Keep ME Home” bipartisan legislative package aimed at helping more seniors live independently in their communities. Local legislators and community organizations working towards a stronger society and a better future for people of all ages need your ideas, input and help in shaping the aging policies, programs and services that matter.
