AUGUSTA — Author and speaker Kathryn Severns Avery will present her book “Your Countdown to Retirement” during Lithgow Public Library’s second Brown Bag Lunch event at noon Thursday, Oct. 13, at the library, 45 Winthrop St. This free program will be held in the Community Room.

The book draws on the author’s and other recent retirees’ experiences.
