In response to concerns about how low-income renters will fare under new development, I see how the real estate developers want to re-utilize old buildings in an honest effort to make a living. However, maybe a more proper way to address the concerns of displacing low-income renters would be actualized by devoting 10 percent of the intended renovated spaces to seniors with subsidized housing and persons who have been benefiting from Section 8 vouchers for 14 or more years.
