Emma Hutchinson, an 8th-grader at Windsor Elementary School, has been named a finalist by the The American Geosciences Institute in their national essay contest for Earth Science Week. Emma was one of four finalists in the contest whose topic was “Sharing and Caring for Our Geoheritage.” Emma, the daughter of Richard and Kimberly Hutchinson, titled her essay, “Protected Forever.” Her essay and those of the winner and other finalists can be found at http://www.earthsciweek.org/contests.
