The story of Bella in the July 19 issue of the Morning Sentinel has left my husband and me heartsick. We cannot believe how any human being could abuse a poor trusting animal the way James Wiggins allegedly treated his dog. It is heart-wrenching to think of the pain and suffering that Bella endured. Our sincere hope is that the judge will find Wiggins a cruel and heartless person. In this case, we say an eye for an eye!
