VASSALBORO — The organization 47 Daisies will host monthly evenings of pizza and conversation on special topics. The first event, The History and Splendor of Carrots, will be presented by Dylan Dillaway, executive director of 47 Daisies, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at 47 Daisies, 552 Webber Pond Road.

This event is kid-friendly and homemade pizza and drinks will be provided. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family. Proceeds will support programming of the organization.
