WEST HAVEN, Conn. — Emma Walsh Conrad, of Winthrop, a junior accounting major at the University of New Haven, has been awarded the Edmund M. Autuori Scholarship, which annually goes to one accounting student at the school who demonstrates scholastic excellence and financial need.
Conrad, a 2016 graduate of Winthrop High School, holds several student leadership positions. She works as a career peer advisor at UNH’s Career Development Center, was appointed to a position on the campus Student Conduct Board and is vice president of the club field hockey team. She also is a member of the campus Accounting Society.
