CASTLETON, Vt. — The following area students were named to the 2017 fall semester dean’s list at Castleton University.

The are: Taylor Benson, of Leeds; Mitchell Caron, of Augusta; Mary Franks, of Liberty; Devon Gordon, of Litchfield; Elise Luce, of Carrabassett Valley; and Kate West, of Thorndike.

To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.
