WATERVILLE — A South End man was arrested Friday night after he allegedly stole two baseball bats from Joseph’s Sporting Goods on Kennedy Memorial Drive.
The man, Donnie Debault, 18 of Carey Lane, Waterville, allegedly took the bats and left the store on foot around 5:30 p.m. Police caught up to him and took him into custody on Morgan Street. The baseball bats were recovered by police, according to Sgt. Lincoln Ryder.
Debault was charged with theft.
