FARMINGTON — University of Maine Cooperative Extension will hold an apple tree pruning workshop from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at the UMaine Extension office,138 Pleasant St., Suite 1.
This hands-on class will include information on pruning both new and established fruit trees, followed by a demonstration that includes pruning techniques for peach trees and highbush blueberries. UMaine Extension agricultural professional David Fuller will lead the workshop.
Cost is $10; registration is required.
