DIXFIELD — Kylee Veilleux scored with an assist from Hayley Marshall on a corner midway through the second half as the Oak Hill field hockey team beat Dirigo 1-0 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Friday.
Abby Fuller stopped three shots to earn the shut out for Oak Hill (3-1-0). The Raiders outshot Dirigo 9-4.
Amanda Dolloff had seven saves for Dirigo (0-4-0).
College field hockey
Thomas 3, Johnson & Wales 0: Sophomore Michelle Greene scored twice as the Terriers earned a shut out in their home opener in Waterville.
Greene scored twice in the first half as Thomas (2-2-0) jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Erica Blake added a second half goal. Lauren Hachey added an assist.
Sofia Sourgiadakis had two saves for the Terriers, while Jaclyn Lyons had 12 saves for Johnson & Wales (1-5-0).
Women’s soccer
Thomas 8, Daniel Webster 0: Kasja Kaufeldt scored twice in the first half as the Terriers cruised to a win over Eagles in Nashua, N.H.
Kristi Hilton, Elizabeth Goodall, Elizabeth McPhillips, Haylee Cote and Kristina Emmons all added a goal for Thomas (2-3-0). Kate Thibodeau stopped one shot to earn the win.
Kerry Hager had six saves for Daniel Webster.
