BELGRADE — Michelle Lynn Alexander and Michael Gordon Curtis were married Sept. 22, 2012, at the home of Jan and John House in Belgrade.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Judy Alexander of Minnetonka, Minn.
The groom is the son of Dennis and Laurie Curtis of Augusta.
Wendy Enger was maid of honor. Stephanie Buckland, Jennifer Schroeder, Tiffany Clarno and Caitlin Szalkowski were bridesmaids.
Nathan Curtis was best man. Andrew Choate, Lee Thompson, Keegan Ballantyne and Michael Alexander were ushers.
A reception was also held at the home of Jan and John House.
Mrs. Curtis is a 2008 graduate of Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Science; and a 2011 graduate of University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn., earning a Master of Arts. She is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy in Behavioral Neuroscience at University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn.
Mr. Curtis is a 2008 graduate of Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y., earning a Bachelor of Arts. He is employed by Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, Conn.
The couple honeymooned in Guanacaste, Costa Rica and live in Vernon, Conn.
