HIGH SCHOOL FIELD HOCKEY: Ramblers going after 1st title since 1989
Winthrop hasn’t played for a field hockey state championship since winning back-to-back state titles in 1988 and 1989. The most dangerous thing about the Ramblers might be that they have a group of fans who see no reason they can’t win it all again today.

WINSLOW — Mt. View junior James Philbrick wasn’t sure what the difference was between the Mustangs’ regular season game with Winslow and the playoff rematch with the Black Raiders on Wednesday. But Mt. View coach Chris Hink was pretty sure he knew what was different.

Four local players are finalists for Miss Maine Field Hockey
The Maine Field Hockey Association announced the four finalists for the Miss Maine Field Hockey Award, given annually to the top senior player in the state.
