The Christmas program will provide 1,700 children from low-income families with new clothing and toys — the only program of its kind to do so in the state — but help is needed. Elizabeth Barron will lead the nonprofit’s development team.

Johnny’s Selected Seeds buys part of Winslow building from town for $1.65M
The seed company has occupied the building since 2002, according to Town Manager Michael Heavener. Winslow is hoping to sell the other part of the building to current occupant Orion Ropeworks in the next year.
