GEORGETOWN — Jennifer Lynn Edwards and Timothy Emery Lord were happily wed Oct. 16, 2010, in the Chapel of the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse by Dan R. Foster, lifetime friend of the bride. Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed their guests at a reception held in the dining room of the Meetinghouse.

NORRIDGEWOCK — Alphonso “Buster” and Beverly Dixon of Norridgewock celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 20, 2011 with family and friends at the home of their son Al Dixon and girlfriend Zelma Gould. Also in attendance were Alphonso’s two brothers, Aaron Dixon and his wife Shannon of Waterville, James Dixon of Augusta, and his sister Karen Reay and Mark Mericer of Norridgewock, Beverly’s brother Wilson and his wife Sheila Fish of Union; as well as many nieces and nephews. The couple have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. The person attending from the farthest away was Diane Ellis and her husband Peter from Portland.
