    The statue of former Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court Melville Weston Fuller sports a red, white and blue knitted stocking cap on Tuesday in front of the old Kennebec County Superior Court House at corner of State and Winthrop Streets in Augusta. Fuller was born in Augusta in 1833 and held the post from 1888 to 1910. Kennebec and Somerset County District Attorney Meaghan Maloney, whose office is the building, said that she didn't know who had put added the cap.
