Trevor Hanna of Oakland and John Dow of Eliot were honored Tuesday by the Maine State Police for saving the life of 8-year-old Tyler Turner, who was trapped in a burning pickup truck (not shown) during this accident on Route 27 in Sidney in December. The boy's great-aunt, Sherry Turner, of Jay, died in the accident.
