A worker known as Boon, holds a shotcrete gun and sprays concrete to fill a ramp mold Tuesday at the Augusta Skate Park. Shotcrete is a process where concrete is conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a surface as a construction technique.

A half-built feature is seen Tuesday at the Augusta Skate Park. Boon, who works for Pivot Custom, a Missouri company with extensive experience building skate parks, said they start building the features first and then pour the flat section later.
