Smoke still rises beside a bare chimney on Wednesday from the remains of a Rock Pond condominium destroyed by fire at Saddleback Ski resort in Sandy River Plantation on Tuesday. Two adjacent condos also were damage from the wind-swept fire. Several state Fire Marshal's Office investigators were on the scene, including Sgt. Ken Grimes who said a cause has not been determined and the fire is being investigated.
