Nancy Schatz holds a worn and faded recipe card in her hands while cooking in her daughter-in-law's Gray home. Schatz believes the family blueberry pie recipe came from her grandmother Katie. A few years back, Karl Schatz and Margaret Hathaway, Nancy Schatz's son and daughter-in-law, were able to get the recipe featured in the Magnolia Bakery cookbook when Margaret served as a manager there.
