Winslow’s $8 million Chaffee Brook pump station renovation delayed again
The station, built in 1970 and not updated since 1998, pumps all of Winslow’s untreated sewage in a single pipe beneath the Kennebec River to a treatment plant in Waterville. It sustained major damage during last year’s floods.
