The central message of a poem from my own graduation ceremony stays with me: Just like the birds, use your voice and be yourself.

As this year’s campers pack their bags, I’m struck by the fact that we are still, somehow, without anything like a national camp health and safety master plan.

Although we may live in a small state far from the current outbreaks, we remain connected to the world through travel, commerce and migration.
