The parcel where the Dummer House currently sits will be converted into a city-owned parking lot, according to City Manager Nate Rudy.

The accident tied up traffic on U.S. Route 201 for an hour on Friday afternoon.

The City Council also will be updated on negotiations to move the historic Dummer House to make way for a new municipal parking lot.

The accident occurred just south of downtown, near the Millikens Crossing Bridge.

The new station will be built at Stevens Commons with up to $1 million in money from an anonymous donor, and city officials hope it will be completed in just over a year.
