Hallowell officials plan next steps for former fire station, Public Works Department facility
Residents earlier this month voted in nonbinding referendums to give broad support to renovating the former fire station and buy land on which a new facility would be built for the Public Works Department.
Hallowell-based school district looks to next year following Richmond vote to withdraw from RSU 2
Though most of the budget operations were building-based, there are still some issues to sort out before finalizing the budget in the spring. At the same time, the district is moving forward with the process of hiring a superintendent.
Hallowell seeks funding for electric vehicle charging station
The city is applying for a grant from Efficiency Maine that would cover 90% of the costs of installing a two-plug station downtown.
