The Nov. 29 Elm City Duplicate Bridge contest resulted in a tie for first place between the pairs of Ed and Joyce Rushton and Diane Bishop and Rona Backstrom. Dick Quinlan and Tom Nelson placed third.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Clubs winners for Nov. 30 were Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman.
Tom Simmons and Debra Gardner placed second.
The winners for Dec. 1 were Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell. Martha Morrill and Marilyn Ware placed second, and Paul Mitnik and Debra Gardner placed third.
The bridge club meets at 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the Cohen Center, 22 Town Farm Road in Hallowell, and at 6 p.m. Thursdays at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner; those who want to play but need a partner can call Director Paul Mitnik at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
